Job candidates

Is it free?

Yes, always. We will never ask you to pay a fee, buy a product or buy a subscription - not to join, not to be found, not to be seen more. Recruiters and employers pay; you don't. More for job candidates

Who can see my details?

Nobody sees your name, number, email or CV until a recruiter or employer pays to see them. Before that they only see what you can do: your skills, experience, pay and the city you're in. You can see every company that paid to see you, and when.

Will my employer see I am looking?

Not by name. Nobody searching can see your name, your details or which company you work for until they pay. They can see your job title and duties, like anyone else searching - so if your title would give you away, keep it general.

Why do you want my ID?

So one real person has one profile, and so we know you're 18 or older. A person checks the copy against what you typed, then we delete it. We keep a note that it was checked, not the document.

Can I stop being found?

Yes. Leave the candidate pool and we delete your profile - your CV, skills, qualifications, registrations and the history of changes - and nobody searching can find you or see anything about you. Your account and your network stay, and you keep earning rewards. You can build a new profile later, but we can't bring the old one back. There is no pause: while you are a candidate, you can be found.

How do I delete my account?

From My Account, any time, or by contacting us. We delete your profile, CV and contact details. We keep records of reveals and of any rewards for 7 years for tax and audit, a record of the Terms you accepted, and figures that can't be traced back to you. Anything a company already paid to see, we can't recall.

Earn rewards

What do I earn, and when?

Once your network reaches 1 000 verified people, you become a Loop Legend and earn R10 every time a recruiter or employer pays to see someone in it. The same person can be revealed more than once, and you earn every time. So it comes to: the candidates in your network × how often each one is revealed × R10.

On 1 000 candidates, that's R10 000 a year if each is revealed once, R30 000 if three times, and R100 000 if ten times. We don't know which is realistic yet, and we won't pretend to. How it adds up

What is the 1 000 about?

It's the starting line, not a fee: 1 000 people in your whole network - the people you invited and the people they invited - each of whom has verified their own cell number. Reveals before you get there don't pay you, but everyone you invited stays in your network.

Do I ever pay anything?

No, never. If anyone asks you to pay for anything on Loopi, it isn't us.

What happens if somebody I invited becomes a Loop Legend?

From the day they qualify, the people who joined through their link move across to them. Everyone who joined through your own link stays yours.

Employers

Can I search before I subscribe?

No - candidate search is part of every package. See the packages

What does a reveal give me?

Up to three months of live access to one candidate's name, contact details and CV. The candidate can end it sooner. How hiring works

Do reveals expire?

Each month's reveals expire 12 months after the month you got them. Unused ones roll over until then, and your account shows when each month's allocation expires.

What does “ID document checked” mean?

That a copy of the document the candidate supplied was checked by our staff or by software. It is not a Home Affairs verification, and it doesn't guarantee the candidate is who they say they are, or that the rest of the profile is accurate.

Can I filter on race, gender or disability?

Only where the law allows it, and only after you confirm on screen why you need to. That confirmation is recorded.

Recruitment agencies

Can I advertise for more than one client?

Yes, any number. Every agency package has unlimited job ads, and your clients work through your own account and users. More for agencies

Can my client see the candidates?

Only after you've paid to see a candidate, only for the specific vacancy they're being considered for, and only once you've told the candidate you're passing their details on.

What does a reveal give me, and do reveals expire?

The same as for employers - see the answers above.
